Golf in Vietnam

Vietnam is one of the fastest growing touristic regions in South East Asia - and also has a steadily improving reputation as a top golf destination.

Of course it would be a shame to visit this beautiful country only to play golf - despite the class of its courses.

The following packages for short stays are therefore only to wet your appetite - if you are hungry for more we will happily offer you tailor-made tours to Hanoi with spectacular Halong Bay, the Imperial City of Hue, top beaches and sights of Da Nang and Hoi An, charming Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), and the Mekong Delta - of course all combinable with golf.

Visa on arrival can be arranged by us if you travel via Bangkok (2 working days).

Important all packages: Golf is based on play on weekdays. Golf on weekends and public local holidays is subject to a surcharge of US$ 20 - 40 per player.

HANOI 4 days/3 nights - 'THE WEDGE'

Day 1:
Arrive Hanoi Airport, meet & greet at the airport (assistance with Visa, if you have Visa on arrival) by your private English speaking guide. Short city tour with visits of Sword Lake, Huc Bridge, West Lake with Tran Quoc Pagoda. Check into your chosen hotel, dinner in local restaurant.

Day 2:
Breakfast at hotel, transfer to KINGS ISLAND GC, the first golf course built in Vietnam and one of the best and most scenic, located on the banks of the Dong Ho Reservoir. Green fees and caddie fees are included for 18 holes of golf. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3:
Breakfast at hotel, transfer to CHI LINH STAR GC, Hanoi’s second top golf course. Green fees and caddie fees for this world class golf facility, spread over 324 hectares in a magnificent valley beside a beautiful lake. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 4:
Breakfast at hotel, city tour with Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature. Lunch. Time permitting, shopping in the old quarter. Transfer to airport.

HO CHI MINH CITY (Saigon) 4 days/3 nights - 'IRON 9'

Day 1:
Arrive Ho Chi Minh City Airport, meet and greet by your English speaking tour guide. Short visit tour during transfer to hotel including Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, dinner cruise on Saigon River, check in your hotel for overnight Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 2:
Breakfast at hotel, transfer to VIETNAM GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB boasting 2 18 hole courses. The East Course was designed by Lee Trevino, the West Course by Taiwanese master designer Cheng Kinh Shih. Green fees and caddie fees are included for 18 holes.

Day 3:
Breakfast at hotel, transfer to PARADISE GOLF RESORT which offers currently 27 holes but will be extended to 36 holes in the near future. Green fees and caddie fees are included for 18 holes.

Day 4:
Breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport, time permitting visits of Reunification Hall, War Remnant Museum, shopping Ben Thanh Market, lunch.

HANOI 5 days/4 nights - 'IRON 7'

Day 1:
Arrive Hanoi Airport, meet & greet by your private English speaking guide. Transfer to your hotel for check-in, followed by Hanoi city tour with visits of HCM Complex, Temple of Literature, Ethnology Museum, rickshaw-cycle-tour of the old quarter.

Day 2:

Breakfast at hotel, transfer to KINGS ISLAND GC (for a descriptions of the golf courses please see tour 'THE WEDGE'), green fees, caddie fees included.

Day 3:
Breakfast at hotel, check-out, transfer to CHI LINH STAR GC which is en route to HALONG BAY.

Green fees, caddie fees 18 holes, after golf and lunch in clubhouse continue to HALONG BAY, check-in hotel for overnight.

Day 4:
Breakfast at hotel, then enjoy a 6 hours' boat tour in picturesque Halong Bay with more than 3,000 limestone islets rising form the emerald clear water. Seafood lunch on board. Afternoon return to Hanoi, overnight Hanoi.

Day 5:
Breakfast at hotel, at leisure till pick up time for airport transfer.

Breakfast at hotel, check-out, transfer to the SONG BE GOLF RESORT, one of the most challenging courses in the country. Green fees and caddie fees for 18 holes. After golf drive to PARADISE GOLF RESORT - overnight.

Day 4:
Breakfast at hotel, green fees and caddie fees for 18 holes PARADISE GOLF GC. After golf return to Ho Chi Minh City for overnight.

Day 5:
Breakfast at hotel, at leisure till pick up time for airport transfer.
